In "The Boogie Man Will Get You," Boris Karloff plays the character of Professor Nathaniel Billings, a quirky and eccentric scientist who owns a dilapidated mansion that he has turned into a laboratory. He is conducting bizarre experiments involving the transfer of human souls into inanimate objects.
The film takes a comedic approach to horror as various characters, including a real estate agent played by Peter Lorre and a curious young woman played by Maxine Audley, become entangled in Professor Billings' unusual experiments and the mysteries of the mansion.
