Description
"Mission Nuestra Seňora de la Purisima Concepcion de Acuňa" or "Mission of Our Lady of the Most Pure Conception of Acuňa" was established in 1716 and it served to convert the Pajalat Native Americans by Franciscan friars. It was the location of one of the first battles of the Texas Revolution in 1835. On April of 1970 it was designated a National Historical Landmark.
This is the first image of my San Antonio Missions Marathon on Monday July 30th 2018. My wife and I drove down from our rental property in Canyon Lake and we hit three missions back to back starting with Mission Concepcion, going down to Mission San Juan Capistrano and finally capturing the dusk colors over Mission Espada. This is a five-image panoramic collage, so it can be printed large. Zoom preview enabled so you can see the quality of my work. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
