The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A beautifully detailed antique, vintage map from the year 1875, of an aerial view over San Jose, California, from an elevation of 500ft looking north. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, created by Charles B.Gifford, published by W.C. Gifford and lithography by A.L.Bancroft & Co. of San Francisco. This map has been restored and converted to black and white.
