The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My first darkroom "opened for business" in a corner of my parent's home when I was in the 4th grade. It was dark only at night and if the windows were covered.
