Wide format, 3:1 ratio, image of 1995/2016 Norfolk Southern General Electric AC44 #4002 (rebuilt from ex-Dash 9-40C #8789) and 1995/2016 Norfolk Southern General Electric AC44 #4004 (ex-Dash 9-40C #8866) at Highland, Big Beaver, Pennsylvania on the former PRR Fort Wayne Line.
Engine #4004 was fresh out of the paint shop, on its first regular service run, when this image was taken. It was joined with Engine #4002 at Altoona that morning then made a brief stop at Conway Yards before continuing its westward haul.

I am a photographer and graphite portrait artist. I specialize in shooting railroad, automotive, and fire apparatus but enjoy all types of photography. My primary camera is a Nikon D5. My photography has been used in advertising by emergency vehicle manufacturers and by local, regional, and national TV, online, & print news services. The majority of my current photography is done close to home in Western PA. On the drawing side, I do commission work for private clients.
