This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

HOLIDAY GREETING CARD OF THIS IMAGE. The original version of this image was for the poetry book "Cats Vanish Slowly". The book won a Best Children's Literature award (although I never considered it a children's book) as well as Best American Illustration award.
For the print series, it is part of The Country Cats collection.
About Laura Seeley
Laura Seeley joined FineArtAmerica in late 2018... She has written and illustrated award-winning picture and gift books, including a NY Times best seller. Her art has won American awards. Years after she graduated with a BA from Rochester Institute of Technology she realized how valuable it was to have acquired good graphic design skills.
