Amazing field of petunia's in Gilroy, California. This deeply colorful image was taken on a bright summer afternoon. The print has a fantastic scale of colors tones from deep black, nice mid-tones to soft white and is exceptionally sharp.

Goldsmith Seeds is headquartered in Gilroy, California, since its inception in 1962. The business is owned and operated by the Goldsmith family, and has some 1,500 employees. The company has breeding and production facilities in Gilroy, as well as production facilities in Guatemala.
Gilroy is well known for its garlic crop and for the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, featuring various garlicky foods, including garlic ice cream. Gilroy also produces mushrooms in considerable quantity. Gilroy's nickname is "Garlic Capital of the World". Boutique wine production is a large part of Gilroy's western portion, mostly consisting of family estates around the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains to the west.
